The Bently Nevada 3500/50 Tachometer Module determines shaft rotational speed, rotor acceleration, or direction using signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups. It compares these values against user-defined alarm thresholds and generates alarms accordingly. It can also supply conditioned Keyphasor® signals to the 3500 rack backplane, eliminating the need for a separate Keyphasor module
