The SIEMENS S7-200 CPU is the main processor unit of Siemens’ micro PLC family, designed for compact and flexible automation solutions. The EM223 is a digital I/O expansion module that provides additional digital inputs and outputs for the S7-200 CPU. It is available in different models with 8 or 16 digital inputs and outputs, featuring MOSFET outputs with short-circuit protection.
